Carl was very excited and looked forward to joining the Grambling University Tiger Marching Band next fall. He was a recipient of a full scholarship called the "Call Me Mister" program that would fully fund his college education. Carl was a special kid that was determined to help others, especially children. His passion for helping others led him to learn a new language so that he could better communicate with his team. Carl shocked us all when we found out that he was a Soccer Coach. There was truly no limit to what Carl would do to better himself. His determination served as an inspiration to all who were fortunate enough to witness his extraordinary journey.
