Benjamin “Benny” J. Alexander, Jr., peacefully transitioned on Saturday, June 18, 2022.  He was the son of the late Benjamin J. Alexander, Sr. and Victoria Roussell Alexander and was born on April 11, 1938 in Reserve, LA. He attended Our Lady of Grace School. On May 8, 1955 at the age of 18, he enlisted in the United States Navy. After serving as an Airman (AN) he returned home and mastered the Art of Masonry from his father, becoming well-known across Saint John Parish and surrounding parishes for his work.

He united in holy matrimony to Consuello Vappie Alexander May 29, 1958. This union blessed him with eight children. Five sons; Benjamin (Joann) III, Demitoris (Enell), Humberto, and the late Leonardo "Leo” and Chippeanna "Chippy" Alexander; Three daughters, Aida (Ferdinand), Nada, and Marvel (Duvaldo). 

Relatives and friends of the family, Priest, Officers, and Members of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 780 Highway 44, Reserve, LA  70084. In accordance with the CDC guidelines for COVID-19 mask are suggested for all in attendance. Visitation 8:00 a.m. at the above-named church until time of service. Interment will be private.
