Anna Mae Joseph
1936 - 2024
On Monday, August 26, 2024, Anna Mae Joseph answered God’s calling to a new home and eternal life. She was born on January 9, 1936, to her loving parents, the late Melvin, and Mandy Brown Joseph. She was reared in Norco, LA. Anna was educated in the St. Charles Parish public school system. She then attended Dillard University where she received her Bachelor of Nursing Degree. She was a proud Registered Nurse. She worked at Sara Mayo Hospital in New Orleans, LA until she retired.
Anna was baptized at Greater Good Hope Baptist Church by Pastor Tyrone Scott. She was very quiet, meek person. Anna stayed to herself and enjoyed sitting on the porch watching as people passed. Her main focus in life was to take care of her parents.
Anna leaves to cherish her memories one Uncle Altis Brown, one devoted sister Sandra Campbell (Larry), niece Danielle Campbell, devoted cousin Brett Mashia and cousins Margaret Watkins and Lois Watkins. She was the godmother of Timothy Lane and also a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents Melvin “Pete” Joseph and Mandy Joseph. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family, Pastors, Officers and Members of Greater Good Hope Baptist Church and all surrounding Churches are invited to a Celebration of Life Services at 11:00am on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Greater Good Hope Baptist Church, 47 Cathy Street, Norco, LA 70079. Rev. Tyrone Scott, Pastor-Officiant. Interment Jefferson Memorial Gardens, Saint Rose, LA. Visitation 10:00am until time of service at above named church. Final Arrangements Entrusted to Patrick H.
