Andre Anthony Williams

1957 - 2025

On September 29, 2025, Andre Anthony Williams entered into eternal rest peacefully at his residence in Avondale, Louisiana at the age of 68.

A Master Carpenter and Certified Mechanic, Andre was also gifted with a passion for painting and crafting.

Andre was a loving father of his beloved “A Team”: A’ Llana (the late Roland) Flemings and Andranisha Williams; and the proud grandfather of A’Yiana Flemings, Andrea Flemings, and Ashton Williams.

He was born on May 24, 1957 to the late Samuel Williams, Jr and Delores Thomas Williams, and the grandson of the late Samuel Williams, Sr., and Josephine Haydel Williams, as well as the late Horace Thomas, Sr., and Victoria Lena Septh. He is survived by his devoted aunt Veronica Septh.

Andre was the brother of the late Samuel Williams, III (Sheila), the late Deyond Lloyd (Moses), Jineane (the late James) Sampson, the late Daryl Gerard Williams and Megan Williams.

He will also be remembered with love by his devoted caretake, Nyron Campbell, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

The family extends a heartfelt gratitude to The McDonnel Group and Egan at Home for their compassionate care and support.

Relatives and friends of the family, pastors, officers and members of Rock of Ages Missionary Baptist Church, Providence Missionary Baptist Church of New Orleans, LA, Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church of Marrero, LA, Little Bethel Baptist Church of Amite, LA, and all neighboring Churches are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service at 10:00am on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Rock of Ages Missionary Baptist Church, 6533 Acre Road, Marrero, LA 70072.  Rev. Dr. Terrence A. Ranson, Sr. Host Pastor and Rev. Celestine Harris-Officiant. Visitation 8:30am until the time of service at the above-named Church. Private Interment.
