Albert William Mitt transitioned from his earthly home on Thursday, June 1, 2023, age 73.

Albert was born in Edgard, Louisiana on July 22, 1949 to the union of the late Sedonia Pierce Mitt and Robert Mitt.  Albert was married to the love of his life Rhonda Mitt for 48 years.  He is the father of Yulinda James (Michel), Angelica Mitt, Chere Hills (Nathan), Cortrell Davis (Jessica), Eric Ward (Terra), Elton Ward (Lisa). 

He was the brother of Lucy Mitt, Joe Mitt and the late Ethel Mae Mitt Gale, Rose Bradford, and Robert Mitt.

Albert was an employee of Wal-Mart for twenty years until his health began to fail.  Then music became a form of relaxation for him.

He spent his quiet time playing the keyboard and the guitar and was pretty good at it.  Albert enjoyed family gatherings, playing cards, and telling a joke or two. These are examples of how he enjoyed time with family and friends.

Albert also leaves to cherish his memory a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Albert was a fun-loving person who will be deeply missed by all!

Relatives, friends of the family, and Members of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses are invited to the Funeral Service at 1:00pm on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 323 Canal Street, Luling, LA  70070.  Visitation 12:oo pm until time of funeral at the above-named Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.   Interment Killona Resthaven Cemetery, Killona, LA.  Final Arrangements Entrusted to Patrick H.
