Albert Gullage, Sr.

Albert Gullage, Sr. departed his earthly life on Saturday, January 28, 2023, age 85.  He was born on August 12, 1937 to the late Rufus Gullage, Sr. and Leona Washington Gullage.  He was the husband of the late Carolyn Gullage for 46 years.  He was father of ten children Gerald, Jeffrey, Lisa, Leonard, Darren, Milton Gullage, Chere Hills, and the late Albert Gullage, Jr., Antoinette White, and Marilyn Scott, one bonus daughter, the late Alisia Baloney and he was the brother-in-law of Theola Gullage.

Albert was the brother of Philip (Alberta) Gullage, Sr., the late Linda (Alfred) Williams, Curtis Gullage, Brenda (Richard) Gullage, William (Rosemary) Gullage and Morris Gullage.

Albert was employed by the Union Carbide Corporation-Taft Plant for many years until a traumatic vehicular accident left him disabled. 

He leaves to cherish his life’s memories his children, Gerald (Jackie) Gullage, Jeffery (Deon) Gullage, Lisa Gullage, Leonard (Tammy) Gullage, Darren Gullage, Cher’e (Nathan) Hills, Milton (Edith) Gullage.  His brother Philip (Alberta) Gullage, Sr., and his Godchildren Gail Watkins and Shalyn Gullage.  He also leaves a host of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and Great Great Grandchildren, also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Relatives and friends of the family, Pastors, Officers and Members of Canaan Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are surrounding are invited to a Celebration of Life at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Canaan Baptist Church, 319 Killona Drive, Killona, LA  70057.  In accordance with the CDC guidelines for COVID-19 masks are suggested for all in attendance.  Visitation 9:00 am until time of service at the above-named church.  Interment Killona Resthaven Cemetery, Mary Plantation Rd, Hwy 3141, Killona, LA.  70057.  Final Arrangements Entrusted to The Patrick H.
