"Aishah Williby Malik"

Aishah Williby Malik, was born on March 17, 1943, in Donaldsonville, LA, to the late Harry Williby, Sr., and Enola Madison Williby. She entered eternal rest on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at the age of 79.

She was baptized under the leadership of the late Pastor, John F. Raphael, of New Hope Baptist Church of New Orleans. After Hurricane Katrina, she later moved to Baton Rouge, LA., where she joined Living Faith Christian Center, Pastored by Bishop Raymond W. Johnson. At Living Faith Christian Center, she became a faithful member and also served on the Jewels and Gents Ministry. Aishah was self-employed as a Private Senior Caregiver for many years until retirement. One of her favorite scriptures was Psalms 23.

Aishah is survived by her sons Kareem Malik, Bilal (Dawn) Malik and Jameel Malik; daughter Zakiya M. (Allen) LaGrange; sister Eloris W. Mills and daughter-in-law Samantha Malik. Also     13 Grandchildren; 15 Great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Harry Williby, Sr., and Enola M. Williby; husband Dauwd Malik; son Idris Malik; brother’s Harry Williby, Jr, Roland Williby, Sr., and Hillary Willby; Sister Doris Clayton; brother in-laws Alfred Clayton, Sr., Abraham Halley, Alfred Tate; sister in-laws Barbara P. Williby, Charlestine B. Williby, Shirley Halley and Dorothy Halley; niece Harriet W. Feast.

She was loved by many who knew her and will be deeply missed.

Relatives and friends of the family, Pastors, Officers and Members of Living Faith Christian Center are invited to attend the Home Going Celebration, 11:00 am on Friday October 28, 2022 at Living Faith Christian Center, 6375 Winbourne Avenue, Baton Rouge, LA., Bishop Raymond W.
